A welcoming pub in the corner of Stafford's Market Square. A series of rooms and distinct areas ramble around a central bar. It offers a selection of well-kept beers (number varies) alongside a range of gourmet burgers. Music nights include open mic Sundays, live music Fridays and Saturdays. There are also occasional comedy nights. See the pub's website for the menu, details of the beers available and events. The pub was formerly known as the Chains, and for a while Joxer Brady's. There is reputedly a tunnel leading from the pub to the cells of the old County Court nearby.
