This Pub is Closed Long Term

A friendly, music themed pub with a wide reputation for it's special pint cocktails. It has a pool table, jukebox and lounge area. Outside seating area. Handmade & hand baked snacks and meals, including oatcakes & burgers.. A Wellington Pub Co property when it closed in 2015. After remaining closed for 8 years, the premises became the offices of a local charity, Hearts & Hands, in 2023.

Planning application Ref 21/34986/FUL | Change-Of-Use of existing Lord Nelson Pub into a new PR Studio and Offices. Ground Floor infill Rear Extension. First and Second Floor Rear Extension over existing ground floor projection, with terrace/ intensive green roof over. Demolition of existing storage outbuilding. Application Received 17 Sep 2021. Status Awaiting decision.
