This Pub is Permanently Closed

The Lonsdale is a large community pub serving the residents of Intake, located only 200 yards from Doncaster Race Course. It was built inter-war but was last refurbished in Autumn 2012. The pub is part of the Greene King Meat & Eat portfolio offering excellent value meals. Families are welcome on one side of the restaurant and Sky Sports can be viewed on TV screens to the other end. Background music from all decades is played throughout the pub. There is a large private function room. No real ale. Closed and boarded up 31/12/16 Converted to Heron Foods opening 23rd February 2023
