A large estate pub serving the community just outside the southern part of the Derby Ring Road. Describing itself as a pub / sports bar it has a large front bar with a pool table, and a large lounge to the rear. There is an upstairs function room and a large car park. At the time of writing (August 2014) the pub garden was temporarily out of use, but there are tables at the front of the pub.
