This Pub is Permanently Closed

This Public House is situated in Chellaston and is a popular community pub. It has ample parking and consists of a large open plan area with seating and dining areas. There is a garden area ideal in sunny weather.

They serve Marston's ales and normal brands of lager. Can be busy at weekends popular for family eating.

Application by LiDL to demolish and replace with a convenience/food store was initially refused; going to appeal by public inquiry commencing 25th Sept 2018 for four days. Ref APP/C1055/W/18/3194270. The planning application was subsequently approved and the pub demolished in 2019, with a LIDL supermarket built on the site.
