The Merry Widows is an interesting pub standing on a corner having the two entrances and a triangular configuration. It is directly opposite the Railway Station and is ideal if travelling into the city to get your bearings before starting out on a visit. It serves one real ale which varies. The interior is split into two by a sturdy arch which also splits the bar. The front room forms a comfy lounge area and is adorned with picture of Derby County football players of the past. The lounge area to the side of the pub also has a dart board. The L-shaped outside area is a slightly awkward hard surfaced area to the rear. The now paved area to the side of the pub provides some additional outside seating.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer (Black Sheep Bitter, St Austel Tribute or Banks's Sunbeam.) and 0 regular beers.
