500-year-old pub at the end of the B1021, with exposed oak beams, a wonderful original fireplace and flagstone floors. Separate dining area and family room. Food available every day; lunchtime until 2pm (3pm Sat and Sun) and evenings until 9pm. The River Blackwater is very close by. There is an extensive garden for outside drinking in warmer weather. Accommodation.
