A somewhat secluded traditional English pub, built in the 13th century and located in a village just off the A2. Walkers and families welcome. As expected it is full of character; oak beams and inglenook fireplace.

The restaurant serves traditional dishes, and a vegetarian selection.

Bar meals also available.

Live music Sunday lunchtime.
