Traditional village pub built in the 18th century alongside the River Jordan, surrounded by stone cottages. On entering the lounge with its single bar, to the left is a snug with dartboard, while to the right is a pool table. A slope leads up to the separate restaurant serving traditional pub fare. Restricted opening in winter but open all day during high season. There is a paved path crossing the garden from the gravel car park providing level access to the pub. Very close to large holiday parks, it's easy to miss, look for sign on leaving Weymouth,
