Spacious pub close to the cliff top on coastal path. Beamed interior can get crowded in summer. Good restaurant. The very large garden area tends to have a semi-permanent covering nowadays (see photo), possibly a reflection on the British weather. On a historical note, originally built in 13th Century, the pub was the headquarters of the French smuggler Pierre Latour and one of the main landing places for smuggled goods in the 17th Century. The two regular beers are accompanied by Badger seasonal beers and the brewer's full range of bottled beer. Cashless payments only.
