Sitting on the southern edge of Cannock Chase forest, the Park Gate is a welcome sight on the Chase. The rustic bar is popular with walkers and is friendly to dog owners. A central log burning stove has two cosy alcoves either side. Bar snacks are available, including cobs and pork pies. The garden has a children's play area and the nearby popular Iron Age hill fort, the Castle Ring, offers excellent views.
