This Pub is Permanently Closed

Closed since 1998, squatted and vandalised, then compulsorily purchased by Lambeth initially with noble intentions but eventually sold for development. Planning permission given in 2012 for flats now above, despite nuisance of passing Overground trains; bar area reopened as 'Wahaca' Mexican restaurant in October 2014, with the saving grace of a bottled Brixton beer.
