Originally dating from the 18th century, this pub was substantially remodelled in the Edwardian period, its most distinctive feature being the wooden piebald horse over the entrance.
Following refurbishment in 2000 with the bar now along the side and a dining area with open kitchen at the rear, the interior is modern and cavernous with plenty of seating.
The pub is busy when big football or rugby matches are shown on TV.
This Pub serves no changing beers and 2 regular beers.
