A short walk from the Town Hall this former coaching inn became a Wetherspoon in 2010 and has an open plan bar with several different seating areas, including a licensed outside area to the front of the pub. There is additional seating on the upper floor. The ten hand pumps dispense up to four guest ales, many from local breweries. Only assistance dogs are allowed anywhere on the premises.
