Dating from the 15th century and with original oak timbers which pre date the Spanish Armada, the Castle & Ball sits proudly on Marlborough High Street. Focussed on accommodation and with food available 12 noon to 9pm everyday a small bar area offers real ales from the Greene King stable.

This Grade II listed building was built after the great fire of Marlborough in 1653.
