Traditional local in Statham on the outskirts of Lymm with 4 separate areas served from a central bar. The lounge areas have both an open fire and a wood-burning stove, and the back room contains a pool table. Popular with walkers as only only 50m from the Trans Pennine Trail and an official Trans Pennine Stamping Station. The well laid out garden is well used in Summer. Food is mainly pie and a pint plus trimmings
