Situated very close to the Anderton Boat Lift on the Trent and Mersey Canal and with its own moorings, the pub has a bright, modern feel to it with separate vault, lounge bar, and dining room plus a garden overlooking the canal. Cask ales are exclusively from Cheshire breweries on constant rotation. Northwich Community Woodlands is nearby offering the opportunity to stroll through Marbury and Anderton Country Parks. Food is home produced, good quality traditional pub fayre, the menu changing to suit the season. Notably good for its homemade fish finger sandwiches and pie of the day. Food serving times may change over the Winter. Campervans are allowed by arrangement on the car park. Refurbished throughout Autumn 2024.
