Previously the Ring o'Bells, a name inherited from an earlier pub of the same name located adjacent to the village church. Reopened August 2026 under new management and with a change of name to reflect Edwin, the Earl of Mercia who held the Saxon Manor of Weaverham back in 1066. Food has been reintroduced, including breakfasts from 9am. Family and dog friendly and with live sports shown both inside and out.
Historic Interest
Built in 1924 with the licence transferred from the original Ring o Bells adjacent to St Mary's Church which was built in 1822 on the site of an earlier inn from 1711. The property was demolished in the early 1950's to create the church car park.
This Pub serves no changing beers and 1 regular beer.
