A former local CAMRA Pub of the Year, the Lion is at the heart of its community. Smartphone speed quizzes are popular events held every Thursday evening, as well as occasional music quizzes and karaoke evenings. Drink is the focus of this pub, although stone-baked pizza is available daily between 4pm and 8pm. Key sporting events are shown. A rare local outlet for real cider.
