Large, stone-built, former coaching inn dating back to the early 18thC. The smart interior has low-beamed ceilings and is tastefully lit. Much extended and part of the Chef and Brewer chain, it is situated alongside the Northwich (Sandiway) Premier Inn and next to the A556. Terraced garden to rear plus part-covered front patio with wood burner The rotating guest beers are often regional, either from Cheshire or adjoining counties. Live music and quiz nights are held.
