This Pub is Closed Long Term
A modernised and inviting historic old pub, reputedly the oldest in Warrington, with traditional Public and Lounge bars, subject to a major upgrade through 2021. The large beer garden out the back is great for families in the summer. Four large TV’s showing Football, Rugby and Horse Racing. A popular stop-off for walkers on the Transpennine Trail which passes nearby. No Real Ale.
**CLOSED END JUNE 2022 FOR EXTENSIVE STRUCTURAL WORK AS PARTS WERE FOUND TO BE IN DANGER OF FALLING DOWN. AS OF OCTOBER 2025 IT LOOKS INCREASINGLY UNLIKELY IT WILL REOPEN AS A PUB**
