The original building was constructed in 1845 as the Reading Rooms, before operating as Bostock Green Social Club; then in turn, the Hayhurst Arms, named after the France-Hayhurst family who lived in nearby Bostock Hall. Large wooden-beamed dining areas with smaller nooks and open fires are to be found inside, with a large outdoor seating area. There is a focus on quality food with a varied menu Food service before noon is with a special limited elevenses menu or a brunch menu on a Saturday. Private dining room available.
