This small and friendly pub has changed hands and is now under the stewardship of Chris Slater and Leigh Handford. It is a long narrow pub with 2 rooms one behind the other, the front room facing the street contains the bar. The pub has been refreshed and the removal of the pool table in the back room has created significantly more space. They continue to provide live music most nights and Chris and Leigh are also custodians of The Twisted Wheel music venue in the city.

The pub may occasionally open on a Monday.
