This site has had been occupied by several hospitality businesses over the years.
In May 2026 it reopened as the Badger run by the same team that run Crown and Kettle and the Rat and Pigeon in the city centre.
It is one large room with many nooks and crannies, interesting pictures adorn the walls. It is currently selling cask up to three cask beers and many keg beers. A food menu is served but food hours are yet to be added.
This Pub serves 2 changing beers and 1 regular beer.
