Former Grade II-listed St Andrew’s United Reformed Church transformed into a smart, classy bar and restaurant. Walking into the building you will be immediately aware of the quality of the refurbishment - the high church roof with clerestory, stained glass windows and parts of the old church organ have all been included in the design, together with suits of armour, plenty of oak and stylish upholstery. A mezzanine level is reserved for dining and offers fine views of the bar area below. A big plus for this city centre venue is the large outdoor terrace which has plenty of seating and can be quite a sun trap on fine days. Alas, real ale no longer available.
