A Craft Union community local pub focussed on Sports TV, pool/darts, Karaoke/DJ Sundays, and Bingo Tuesdays. There is a room either side of the entrance corridor though the one to the left, which is larger and furnished to a simple but higher standard, is less used with a much livelier atmosphere in the other. Beyond the latter is a games room containing a pool table and dart board.

Listed in Pigot's Directory for Royston, 1834, this was a basic ex-Wilsons pub that once retained cask ale in an area where it was scarce.
