This is a hotel, which means that the bar is only open to residents.
Set in the Exmoor National Park, a large 1880's house in its own grounds at the west end of the village and clearly signed. It no longer has a bar, but serves bottled beers, some bottle conditioned, as well as cider and perry all supplied from local breweries and producers. These are only available at meal times when ordering food from the menu in the Coleridge Restaurant. This is a condition of the licence.
Outstanding views to the south from terrace garden, restaurant and upstairs accommodation rooms. The hours in summer are extended:Wednesday to Friday 18.30 to 20.30 Saturday 11.00 to 16.00 and 18.30 to 20.30hrs. Sunday 09.30 to 16.00hrs.
