This Pub is Temporarily Closed
UPDATE 03/04/26: now under new ownership with new owners undertaking a renovation of the premises following a fire in 2025. Seating is in the bar and in a refurbished courtyard and garden to the rear. The restaurant is at the rear of the pub and is accessed via the bar with private dining available upstairs.
Historic Interest
Also listed at New Market place. A report in the Ipswich Journal on 06 July 1842 states "On 1st July, 1842, died, in her 32nd year, Harriet, wife of Mr NOBBS, of the White Horse Inn, Beccles" The original pub is thought to date from the 17th century.
