A locals' pub at the upper end of this village on the north western edge of Cardiff. Don't be put off by the lack of handpumps in the small front bar. Go to the rear bar where there are handpumps serving Doom Bar plus the house beer. The rear bar opens into a pleasant conservatory and that, in turn, into a garden. Being close to the foot of the Garth Mountain, this is a good place to start or finish a walk.
