Historic Interest

Dating from at least 1864, bought by Peter Walker in 1908, later a Tetley pub. Described in 1980 as an archetypal basic local selling Tetley Bitter and Mild. Closed 30 April 1981, Compulsory Purchase order and demolished for road improvements.
