Historic Interest

The building dates back to at least 1875 and before it was a gentlemen's club, it was known as 'Heyfield House' where Charles Wheldan, the commercial traveller, lived. It had become the Old Manor Club by at 1911. It used to have a bowling green at the side.. Demolished by 2019 and housing built on the site.
