Compact village local which manages to pack in a lot of diners and drinkers. The guest ale is are generally from big names. Small peaceful beer garden at the front. The building dates from the 16th century, and is very close to the village duck pond and attractive church. Mondays and Tuesdays 60p off cask ale.
