Old fashioned ale house standing at an isolated cross roads where Cardigan's evil-doers were once hanged – the pub sign is worthy of close inspection. The cheerful and welcoming public bar retains its quaintness with a slate floor, inglenook fire place and wood burner. Good home-cooked food, including traditional favourites, is available all day in the bar and the separate restaurant. Free live music plays on the third Thursday evening of the month.
