A 17th century, timber-framed, village pub that combines well kept real ales, an extensive wine and spirit list and classic pub food while maintaining a welcoming community spirit. There are two bars, both with roaring log-burners in winter, a courtyard to the rear and a few tables in front. The right-hand bar is more oriented towards drinkers. Free of tie with two regular and a mystery house ale. The left-hand bar, partly sculpted out of adjoining cottages, is used more for dining with a menu of home cooked pub food and pizzas. Breakfasts available 10-12 Thursday to Saturday. Fish & chips Friday night. Roast Sunday lunch.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer and 2 regular beers.
