Large 17th century inn on the edge of Cambridge. Varied floor levels, a low, beamed ceiling and wood panelling on the walls gives the L shaped front, main bar area with its comfortable seating lots of character. . Behind is a large, well kept garden. A coffee lounge is found at the rear of the pub. The conservatory can be used as a function room. The pub has a new purpose built accommodation block built in keeping with the appearance of the original building.
Regular real ales are primarily from local brewery, Turpin's, which is owned by the licensee, also from Milton, Oakham and Tring. Real ciders are from Simon's Cider.
