This pub in the Whitehall district of town dates from 1930 and was the last pub built by T&W in Ramsgate and is named after Mascall's Newington Mill which was one of the last working mills in Thanet. The smock mill was built in 1830 on a site facing Granville Avenue and was operational until shortly before the pub was built. Recently refurbished.
