This Pub is Closed Long Term

This locals pub started out as shop but by 1912 was tied to the Thompson brewery of Walmer. The pub was tied to Shepherd Neame.

In April 2024 there was a planning application for its change of use to flats. This is on-going and the Thanet District Council planning reference number is F/TH/24/0274.
