Ye Olde No 3 is wedged between the Bridgewater Canal and the A56 (Lymm Road), located next to the canal, but on the south bank, while the towpath is on the north bank. The south bank has moorings for boaters.

On entering from the main road you see first the bar in front of you, with small cosy seating areas immediately to left and right. Further to the left is a big open room with soft upholstered bench seating around the walls and a range of tables. For the colder evenings, there is a real log fire in the main room. Note opening hours may be extended Spring/Summer.

The pub reopened under new management June 2025 after a short closure. It also operates as an Indian restaurant / takeaway. Full survey pending so the current details await confirmation.
