Large traditional pub in a central location. the bar is an 'island' type surrounded by three different lounge areas, the fourth area is at the rear and is the games room with two pool tables and a dartboard, all areas are open plan.
Six handpumps adorn the front of the bar two are the Greene King stalwarts the rest are various flavours of fruity ciders, all Lilly's, as well as keg ciders and bottles, none meet the current Camra criteria for real cider.
Food menus include the pensioners special featuring reduced portions.
Upstairs there is a function/meeting room with a capacity of 70.
