Named the Dukes Head until 1739, rebuilt 1873 and was then the Bedford Head until 1984, when it was renamed after a link up with the Canadian brewer Molson. This is now a large Canadian-themed sports bar with two distinct areas: the front has exposed flooring with Canadian ice hockey memorabilia on the walls whilst the rear is panelled to resemble a log cabin, with carpeted floor and plush leather seating around the walls.
Since autumn 2022 it has been reported that the two ask ale handpumps are now unused. Ice-cold Canadian beers are served plus a wide food menu including dishes with a Canadian twist.
