This Pub is Permanently Closed

Reported CLOSED Sept 2017. To reopen in autumn 2017 as Southam Street restaurant. Further reported closed & lease on the market as at late October 2019. Previous description follows.

Previously the Earl of Portobello pub, in January 2015 the site reopened as West Thirty Six, a three-storey restaurant and bar serving contemporary British cuisine with some American touches. This is the latest venture by restaurateur Robert Newmark, of Beach Blanket Babylon, with Jon Pollard, previously of the Soho House Group, as executive chef. 100-cover restaurant plus bar, lounges and summer outdoor spaces to be used for barbecues.

No Real Ale.
