This end-of-block corner site was built in 1833 and licensed five years later as a beer house. Now a family-owned gastropub, it is housed in two adjacent buildings giving a split level interior. Extensive outside seating and families welcome. The wide food menu includes pizzas, Sunday roasts, and weekend brunches. Sunday evening sing-alongs have been reported (on BBC Radio Four, no less!) to have been ceased in June 2026.
This Pub serves no changing beers and 2 regular beers.
