First opened one block west as a self-styled Bavarian Bierkeller and kitchen with oompah bands & German food in April 2016; moved to this site in July 2019. Long tables encourage conviviality amongst the largely young clientele. Eight or so draught taps serve pint and 2-pint steins of German & Belgian beers; plus a bottled range. Waitresses carry multiple steins in German beer-hall style. Cocktails, wine and oak-barrelled schnapps also available but cask (or real) ale is not served. The hearty Bavarian food on offer includes whole roast pork knuckle; sharing platters are available.
Express lunch and Happy Hour offers, see venue website. Available for private hire Sundays.
Operator Moonshine Bars also run the Loose Box nearby.
