This Pub is Closed Long Term

CLOSED: the venue has shifted to a larger site one block east.

Opened as a self-styled Bavarian Bierkeller and kitchen with oompah bands & German food in April 2016. Long tables encourage conviviality amongst the largely young clientele. Eight or so draught taps serve pint and 2-pint steins of German & Belgian beers; plus a bottled range. Cocktails, wine and oak-barrelled schnapps also available but cask (or real) ale is not served. The hearty Bavarian food on offer includes whole roast pork knuckle.

Express lunch and Happy Hour offers, see venue website. Available for private hire Sundays.

Operator Moonshine Bars also run the Loose Box nearby.
