Previous description follows.
This building is Grade II*-listed and the design results from a competition won in 1961 by John Darbourne. The structure was built in 1964-67, with fitting-out 1968-9. The architects were John Darbourne and Geoffrey Darke. Previously a pub but now with more emphasis on restaurant and perhaps gastro-pub, the Moo Cantina is modern and stylish. Picked out with a mixture of grey, pastel shades, bright colours the decor and moody music shows distinct South American if not Argentinian influences. There's a good range of keg beers and the food offering includes charcoal-grill steaks.
