Friendly and inclusive local , The Hampden Arms is a country pub located between Brighton and Eastbourne in East Sussex, serving a wide selection of traditional English ales, lagers, ciders, wines, spirits, soft drinks, also tea and coffee. The food menu is limited at present to Pizzas and Kim's Famous ChunkyChips, Tuesday Curry Night (pre booking essential), and Thursday Unemployed Retired Dining Lunches (pre booking essential). The pub offers a welcoming atmosphere with a Garden, Pool, Darts, Sussex Toads, Music, and more. Disability access is difficult, but not impossible, because the Pub is on a hill and has steps everywhere! There is currently no provision for disabled toilets. Street parking is usually OK, no yellow lines up here. In event of no onstreet parking available near the Pub, parking is OK in Forward Close, about 100 yards up the hill.
