Large roadside food pub offering the usual Vintage Inns menu. The interior has a number of different areas served by a central bar. Two beers, of which one is always Doom Bar and the other is often Wainwright or Timothy Taylor's Landlord.
Historic Interest
The Mermaid was built in 1888 to replace the much smaller pub on the site. While owned by Mitchells & Butlers in 1969 plans were granted to knock the bar and lounge into one room. In 1993 the pub was extended and altered internally to create a much larger kitchen to operate under the Fork & Pitcher brand.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer and 1 regular beer.
Mermaid, Wightwick
Changing beers typically include: Fuller's - London Pride , Purity - Pure UBU , St Austell - Tribute
