The comfortable public bar has a real fire in the cold months and much local history is displayed on the walls. A central servery links the bar and lounge.

There is a large beer garden with a pleasant countryside outlook

Historic Interest

Dating from 1903, this cosy low-ceilinged village inn was named by its situation within the estate of the Earl of Dartmouth and is one of few pubs owned by the Crown Estate.
