Reopened in March 2016 as a combined pub/Italian restaurant, hence the alternate name of "Il Vello D'Oro", which is Italian for the Golden Fleece. There is a bar area and drinkers are far from discouraged. One well kept ale, and now rather celebrated for it's high quality food and good service.

Building itself is a charming old one, with low ceilings and sloping walls.
