Located a short walk away from Huddersfield Road (A641), this Grade II Listed pub was re-opened after a complete refurbishment in 2013. All inner walls have been removed to produce an open-plan restaurant pub with a clean, modern feel. There is a central bar area, with seating opposite for drinkers, and dining areas to the left and right. Two real ales, often from Yorkshire breweries, are served. There are also twelve keg taps offering beers, lagers, ciders and Guinness. The pub is very popular with diners. Food is freshly prepared on site. Alongside the main menu, there is also a pizza menu. A sandwich menu is available Mon–Sat 12-4pm.
